First story, no steps.

On request, the office ensured I was the only person booked into the practice during my time slot. It’s a very small office, but the front desk was masked (with n95s) when I got there, as were the other practitioners. The current patients were not, but I just waited for them to leave. There is a private exam room with a door, however I would bring an air purifier. The front desk thought there was one in the room, but I think it was a heater. When I called, I specified that I would appreciate the staff wearing n95s (they don’t mask normally, I don’t think, but to accommodate me, they did).

I had an appointment on 2/17/25. When I arrived, the only person wearing a mask was the optician, and it was a surgical mask.

If you want them to wear masks, you probably need to request it in advance
