Accessibility notes
There is a 5″ step-up in order to reach the door. However, we have a ramp!
We have a doorbell (one at seated height, and one at standing height)! Ring it, and store staff will bring the ramp out for use.
There is also an ADA-compliant side entrance to the bookstore, which is accessible to those who use wheelchairs, powered chairs, and other mobility devices. However, neither doors have powered openers at this time.
We maintain clear, wide aisles between shelves, fixtures, and tables that are at least 32″ apart (and often more).
We have one ADA-accessible bathroom in the store that anyone can use. It is equipped with bars on the side and behind. We also keep regular stock of Narcan, COVID tests, hygiene products, and other public health resources in the bathroom for all to use.

Our store exists to celebrate LGBTQIA+ stories while making space for our community, furthering a historic tradition of queer bookstores, and to be a third space for queer & trans people in service to the liberatory power of community.
