Accessibility notes
There is one step leading up to inside the clinic, but no handrail. Bathroom is a little tight but should be able to be navigated with a walker. Chair with no arms is available and exam table can hold up to 300 lbs. Acupuncture table is extra wide with wide arm extenders. There is a heated outdoor area available for any naturopathic visit that doesn’t require an exam that includes any disrobing or lying down. This outdoor area is accessed via a 30 inch wide sidewalk.
I am pro-vaccine, anti-ableist, weight-neutral and queer and poly friendly. I can order labs and prescribe all non-schedule medications. At this time I am not doing annual exams or providing emergency care and do request if possible that patients have a relationship with a traditional PCP or clinic in case of emergencies.
The clinic is equipped with an HVAC system that was installed during the pandemic so we’ve got 6-8 full fresh air turnovers per hour, in addition to medical grade purifiers with an additional 2-3 ACH. I’ve never seen my CO2 monitor exceed 600 PPM when the air circulation is on and it usually sits around 500. There is also a heated outdoor area for meeting that is available in all but the worst of our PDX weather. We require masking inside the clinic for everyone’s safety- I can provide a KN95 mask to keep at the clinic for those who forget a mask. Virtual appointments are available.
We honor wherever you are in your personal risk profile around Covid.
Please don’t hesitate to ask for what you need.
Regarding the practice:
I am not open for new acupuncture clients at this time. In some cases we can add acupuncture for folks who are established naturopathic clients. I do take insurance and currently am (as of March 2025) in network with Moda, Pacific Source, Aetna, First Choice, Providence and Adventist Health. We bill all other insurances if you have out of network benefits. We offer a 22% discount at this time if we are not billing insurance.
